Sesame Crumble

Sesame seeds are an incredibly rich source of many essential minerals, particularly calcium. They also contain folic acid and niacin and are a good source of protein. As a way to incorporate more sesame seeds into my diet, I devised this simple mixture to top off a salad, morning oatmeal, or stir into a pot of rice. You may add other seeds and nuts of your choice, like walnuts or pecans as well as dried fruit like coconut slices or dried mango. I often generously lather this mix on my morning avocado toast. You can also just munch on it by the spoonful.
