Learn how to hone your intuition to cook by sight, touch and smell. Incorporate the transformative magic of spices into your daily cooking. Taking into account seasonality, availability and connecting this to how we feel, what we eat daily can shape our physical and emotional well-being. Based on dietary requirements and using the idea of recipes as rough guides, we will cook an entire meal together and enjoy it afterwards.
Delicate spices can transform a simple roasted salmon or shrimp on the grill. Bold spices can pack a punch when coating a tuna steak. Learn how to nuance spice combinations to create delicious dishes using local seafood. Class taught by Anita Jaisinghani and Mary Cuclis.
Limited to 12 students, each class will be a combination of hands on, personal & group instruction. $100 each includes ingredients & dinner for one. Gift certificates are available upon request.
location & arrival
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for set up. All courses are held upstairs in our Bake Lab + Shop, directly above the restaurant. Free parking is available in the adjacent garage.
Please wear comfortable clothing & closed toed shoes. We will provide aprons.
